.the inaugural year of the EUROPEAN XGAMES in tignes, france has wrapped up and what a time it was. mens half pipe was the first to qualify and have finals of the event. we finished up everything on wednesday. that ment that from wednesday till sunday  we would be freeskiing around tignes in the day. and blacking out by night. it was nothing short of splendid. tignes is massive, the best way i can compare anything to it would be if you took vail… and put about four more vails next to it. you couldn’t ski the whole mountain in a week.

.well… there’s not a whole lot more to say. ill let photos speak.

.well the first part of the euro trip has come to a close. european open was one of the best times i’ve had at a competition. although the event had to be canceled due to bad weather, the location and the company made up for the unfortunate weather. Joey chez belly and chug managed to keep the spirits up the day slope was canceled. we sat mindlessly in the lodge for four and a half hours waiting for confirmation. pipe the next day unfortunately went just about the same way. i managed to sleep through most of the waiting period due to a massive hangover.

.we managed to party every single night harder and harder.  by the last night a few of us just about died. actually.

.switzerland is endlessly wonderful. there is always a photo to be taken.

.thank you to all the event organizers who had to put up with us bitching and complaining about the conditions, next year will be much better.

.9 hour car ride to france coming. i’m okay with that though.
